Cadlay was founded as a CADSTAR design bureau in 1987. This versatile product will accept not just Cadstar user’s data but also net-list input from most schematic capture tools. The product has been maintained so we support all the versions and has been upgraded to the latest high speed PCB design service version Kynetic.
Due to customer demand we added Altium design services to our PCB layout options in 2011. Again this product is maintained allowing our PCB designers to offer the latest high speed PCB layout service for DDR3 and beyond.
We can generate schematics from your sketches, accept any net-list format or utilise Orcad, CADSTAR or Altium Designer data files.
We maintain our own in house circuit board design library for both Altium and Cadstar to IPC7351 adding the relevant footprint to your schematic symbols to create unique parts with manufacturer data. The resultant PCB design library file can be part of our deliverable.
In current high speed PCB designs the layer count, build materials and thicknesses determines the quality of the finished product. We work with our customers to optimise these.
Any style of PCB design be it Analog, RF, Flexi or high speed with controlled impedance. Disciplines including blind and buried via, micro-via and stacked via for BGA. Any PCB layout component technology DDR memory, 10/100 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gig SERDES, PCI Express, SATA and USB standards.
Our PCB designers work to industry recognised IPC Standards. Regular PCB design reviews can be undertaken in house, online using web tools or by email.
All our PCB designs are fully documented with manufacturing drawings, RS274x plus ODB++ and other outputs as required.
Prior to despatching, these PCB design outputs are loaded into a Computer Aided Manufacturing tool. A net-list compare and visual checks are then performed on the PCB layout. This ensures a smooth flow into PCB manufacture.
